Donald Trump and Finasteride – Can It Cause Permanent Erectile Dysfunction?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you’ve heard about president Trump’s recent health exam, and all of the rumors swirling around it. It claims that the president currently stand at 6’3” and weighs 230 lbs, similar statistics of one of his biggest fans, NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Before you hop on the bandwagon and join the girther movement, you should know that this isn’t even the worst news we’ve received about his health. It is believed that Donald Trump is still taking a medication known as finasteride,  which is used to treat the conditions of androgenic alopecia and benign prostatic hyperplasia-commonly referred to as male pattern baldness and an enlarged prostate.

While the president’s current doctor didn’t disclose whether or not the President is still taking the medication, it is worth noting that the physician to the president who completes periodic physical exams of the president did list the medication as one the president was taking, the last examination being completed on 1/16/2018. It is also important to know that the president’s personal care provider is not required to disclose this information, as was the case with some former presidents such as Bill Clinton.

Does Donald Trump have Erectile Dysfunction?

While this may finally give some insight as to the president’s hair style, the laughter subsides when we learned through newly published studies that these medications can cause erectile dysfunction. It is especially troubling because users reported that not only did this issue persist after they stopped taking the drug, but that in some cases the erectile dysfunction couldn’t even be remedied by viagra and other similar prescription medications or male enhancement pills.

The potential problem with these medications has everything to do with how they are biochemically activated within the body, which also involves various hormones. This means that when an individual stops taking these medications it can potentially cause a whole host of problems related to our hormones.

Our body uses the endocrine system to control what physiological changes occur in the body over a long period of time. This means that virtually every other bodily system can be affected by taking these finasterides. In some cases, users who stopped taking the medication also developed adverse physical and mental conditions, which is now being referred to as Post-Finasteride Syndrome.

So potentially from taking a hair loss medication an individual may develop erectile dysfunction, physical issues, mental issues and may even lose their hair in the process. Resolving this endocrine crash with hormonal replacement therapies has shown to be difficult as well, demonstrating how difficult it is to even treat, let alone reverse the damage done.

What having Erectile Dysfunction Means for Trump

This is a major reason why it is always a good idea to do some background research about any medicine or supplement you are taking. Some can potentially cause severe side effects, some worse than the issue you’re trying to solve to begin with.

Our health is extremely important, we only get one life to live so it is in our best interest to minimize the risks to our health as much as possible. This is why the best choice in supplements whether it be for hair maintenance or for erectile dysfunction are derived from nature, and not artificially synthesized in a lab. Choosing products like Progentra, which is naturally based while simultaneously being effective, is what is going to be in the best interest of our health and the closest thing to permanent male enhancement.
